Report: Deaths reported in Idaho motel incident: 'My heart is with the people of Kamiah'

Three people are reportedly dead following an incident at a northern Idaho motel, according to a report.

The Clearwater Progress reports the incident occurred at the Sundown Motel in Kamiah Monday evening. The incident prompted a response from Gov. Brad Little.

"My heart is with the people of Kamiah tonight," Little said. "Details regarding an incident are still emerging, but we know lives will be impacted by the events that took place tonight."

The governor asked folks in the area to refrain from calling 911 unless it's an emergency.

Kamiah Fire-Rescue chief says there is no threat to the community. Multiple law enforcement personnel are on scene investigating.
