KUNA, Idaho (CBS2) — Kuna Police are looking for a suspect in a stabbing that took place on New Year's Eve at Cowgirls nightclub.
Police say the victim, a man, was stabbed on the dance floor in the early hours of Jan. 1.
Kuna Police were called to Cowgirls just after 1 a.m. Bouncers say a man stumbled out of the crowd and told them he was hurt. He was bleeding from a stab wound to his thigh.
The man told police he did not know who did it or exactly how it happened. Witnesses later told police the man got into a few different altercations with other bar patrons earlier in the night, but no one saw the stabbing occur or who might have done it.
Police say the bar was packed with people at that time. Investigators are reviewing video surveillance and have done several interviews with bar patrons. They have not identified a suspect at this time.
The man was transported to a local hospital where he was treated and released.
Kuna police are asking anyone with information to send an email to Let. Jared Scott at jnscott@adacounty.id.gov or call Ada County Dispatch at (208) 377-6790.
